Terms of Use
Effective date: 29 September 2026
In short: You buy the game once through the App Store and can play all of it. Apple's standard licence applies. The game is a piece of entertainment provided as it is, and we are not responsible for losses beyond what the law requires.
1. The licence
Starfall Bakery is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two ever conflict, the Standard EULA applies. Apple is not responsible for the game or for supporting it, and has no warranty obligation for it beyond refunding the purchase price where the Standard EULA provides for that.
2. What you may do
You may download and play the game on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's usage rules, including Family Sharing.
3. What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent or redistribute the game or its art, music or writing.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the game, except where the law allows it regardless of this term.
- Use the game or its contents for any unlawful purpose.
4. Ownership
The game, including its characters, pixel art, music, sound, story and code, belongs to Sheng Hao and Ryan Kang and is protected by copyright and other laws. Everything in it was made for Starfall Bakery. Any resemblance of in-game characters, towns or businesses to real people, places or companies is coincidental.
5. Purchases and refunds
The game is a one-time paid purchase with no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads. All payments and refunds are handled by Apple. To ask for a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Your saves
Your progress is saved on your device and, if you use iCloud, backed up to your own iCloud account. We cannot access, restore or recover saves, and we are not responsible for progress lost because of device failure, deleting the app, iCloud settings, running out of storage or any other cause outside our control.
7. Updates
We may release updates that fix problems or change, add or remove features. We are not obliged to provide updates or to keep the game available in the App Store forever.
8. Health and safety
Take regular breaks while playing. The game includes animated effects such as sparkles, flickering lights and weather. If you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to light, turn on Reduce Motion in the game's Settings and stop playing and seek medical advice if you feel unwell.
9. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the game will be free of errors or run without interruption on every device.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the game. In any case, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the game is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Some places do not allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited. In those places, these limits apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be changed by agreement.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the game changes. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
